Are there any prerequisites to becoming a StrongerU Senior Fitness Instructor?

All fitness trainings require exertion and physical demand. It is recommended you obtain appropriate clearances from your doctor before engaging in the StrongerU Senior Fitness Instructor Certification.

Depending on your country, province, locality, or facility, you may need a general group exercise certificate or other certifications. It is your responsibility to be informed of, comply with, or obtain any regulatory, tax, fitness, or education requirements, qualifications, certifications or licenses needed to conduct business or teach StrongerU Senior Fitness classes according to the laws and regulations where you conduct business or teach. Be sure to check with your government or local guidelines to see what the requirements are in order for you to teach.

What formats will I be able to teach, upon completion of the StrongerU Senior Fitness Instructor Certification?

Once fully certified, StrongerU Senior Fitness Instructors will be able to subscribe to the StrongerU Senior Fitness Series where they will gain access to the StrongerU Cardio, Strength, Stretch and Circuit Programs.

Can I set my own instructing hours and class rates as a StrongerU Senior Fitness Instructor?

Yes. StrongerU Senior Fitness Instructors are independent contractors and as such are able to set their own hours and rates.

How long is my StrongerU Senior Fitness instructor certification, or license, valid for?

Your StrongerU Senior Fitness license is valid for one year upon completing the online StrongerU Senior Fitness certification course and obtaining a “pass” on your practical video. Due to the nature of the program, and as with any reputable certification, a professional is expected to keep up-to-date on industry knowledge and skills to keep a high level of proficiency. To help instructors attain and maintain this status, after completing your certification, subscription to the StrongerU Senior Fitness Series will provide you with ongoing support and tools to keep your license up to date and your classes fresh and successful. Renewal will take place annually, one year after becoming certified. As long as you are subscribed to the StrongerU Senior Fitness series, your license does not expire.

Do I have to teach the StrongerU Senior Fitness Content?

If you're becoming a StrongerU Senior Fitness Instructor, it's because you want to recieve 30-minutes of brand new class content monthly in a rotation of four formants: Cardio, Strength, Stretch, and Circuit. 
In a StrongerU Senior Fitness class, the movement is perfectly matched to the music to deliver an engaging fitness experience. Instructors are required to use the StrongerU Senior Fitness exclusive content provided. As a StrongerU Senior Fitness Series subscriber, you will receive new content each month to be able to keep your classes fresh and your students coming back for more.  
You can continue to teach additional non-StrongerU Senior Fitness classes.

What is the StrongerU Senior Fitness Series subscription?

The StrongerU Senior Fitness Series is the monthly class content, exclusively for StrongerU Senior Fitness Instructors to learn and teach to their classes. StrongerU Senior Fitness Instructors in good standing, receive monthly content and resources to keep classes engaging and participants coming back for more. With the StrongerU Senior Fitness Series subscription, instructors spend less time preparing for class and more time teaching.

Who can become a StrongerU Senior Fitness Series Subscriber?

Only fully certified StrongerU Senior Fitness Instructors can become StrongerU Senior Fitness Series subscribers and gain access to 30-minutes of brand new class content in a rotation of four formats: Cardio, Strength, Stretch, and Circuit.

You will have access and be able to stream your video content for as long as you are a StrongerU Senior Fitness Series subscriber in good standing.

Question 10

Can I put my StrongerU Senior Fitness Series subscription on hold?

Accepted Answer

StrongerU Senior Fitness Series Subscriptions can be put on hold for medical and maternity leaves and some other instances by approval only. Appropriate documentation is required. To put your account on hold, contact contact@strongeruseniorfitness.com. During the holding period, you will retain all of your releases, but will not have access to any new content.

Question 11

What happens if I cancel my StrongerU Senior Fitness Series subscription?

Accepted Answer

If you cancel your StrongerU Senior Fitness Series subscription you will lose access to your releases and will no longer be licensed to teach the StrongerU Senior Fitness Program.

Question 12

Does StrongerU Senior Fitness provide me with the music required for the class?

Accepted Answer

Instructors are responsible to purchase their own music. Each StrongerU Senior Fitness release indiciates where to purchase the required music. On average, music for the StrongerU Senior Fitness conent will cost an instructor approximately $60 per year.
