That's why we've created a program that pairs students enrolled in therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, and other physical wellness programs with senior-serving


The top two applicants receive free StrongerU Senior Fitness Instructor certification, one year of access to our monthly pre-choreographed classes, valuable hands-on experience, and more. 

Program Overview

The two successful applicants will:

  • Complete the online StrongerU Senior Fitness Instructor Course. Typically takes between 8-12 hours. The course is completed at your own pace, but must be completed between March 1st and 31st 2021.

  • Learn their first 30-minutes of StrongerU Senior Fitness content between April 1st and June 23rd 2021. 

  • Team-teach weekly with the other sponsorship recipient virtually at Stonebridge Community Services from July to the end of December 2021 (approx. 24- thirty minutes classes).

The Host Organization: Stonebridge Community Services

Stonebridge Community Services is a not for profit organization providing in-home health care and preventative health services designed to help people maintain good health and independence through the aging process. You can learn more about them by visiting their website here.
